Vet Voice Foundation statement on the Year-End Legislative Package for FY2020

Vet Voice Foundation’s Will Goodwin, a US Army Veteran, had the following to say regarding the year-end legislative package for FY2020:

“Are we happy to see an increase in funding for the Land and Water Conservation Fund? Of course. But the reality is that this increased funding still falls short of the full funding this vital program deserves — and the blame for that shortfall falls squarely on the shoulders of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, who refuses to bring a full-funding bill to the Senate floor. Veterans have taken note of this inaction and we‘ll continue to fight for a fully-funded LWCF.”
