Supporting Our Veterans In Crisis: A Hotline Available To All Who’ve Served
The Veterans Crisis Line is a toll-free, confidential hotline through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs which offers support to Veterans in crisis. Trained professionals are available to provide emotional support and crisis intervention, regardless of the severity of the situation. The line also offers referrals to local mental health providers and other services.
The Veterans Crisis Line is free of charge and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Any Veteran can access the service, whether they are experiencing suicidal thoughts or dealing with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). They do not need to be currently enrolled in VA benefits or healthcare to reach out.
Talking to a professional on the Veterans Crisis Line can help an individual receive the care and support they need. This service allows Veterans to receive reliable, high-quality care without needing to leave their homes or go to an emergency room.
If you are a Veteran in crisis or need help, the Veterans Crisis Line is there to serve you 24/7.
