Vet Voice Foundation Applauds Department of Interior’s Proposed Reforms to Outdated Oil and Gas Leasing System

Washington, D.C. — After many years of deliberation, the Department of the Interior (DOI) has released much-needed reforms to America’s antiquated federal oil and gas leasing system. In reaction, Vet Voice Foundation CEO, Janessa Goldbeck released the following statement:

“Veterans and military families agree – the Department of Interior’s proposed oil and gas rule to reform leasing is a no-brainer.

“Our communities overwhelmingly support these common-sense reforms that will limit harmful impacts to public lands, wildlife, community health, and local economies.”
